Big Bad Wolf are not your ordinary builders. Lead by two unique personalties, Chris and Simon, they have garnered a reputation for punching-above-their-weight in the Nelson building scene.

We worked with them to create an identity that captures their unique approach to carpentry. Their lateral thinking and personalities were inspiration for the design of their logo. The ‘Built for good” tagline, colours and shield have become a brand system that is flexible and unforgettable.

The annual report that goes deeper.

For the 2019 New Zealand King Salmon annual report we took an ambitious approach to show depth.

The theme was Blue Frontiers, and we wanted to create something that illustrated NZKS approach to creating a sustainable future. For this book we created a unique dust jacket that, when folded, creates an illusion of deep ocean topography.

The Journey to Sustainability

We are all on a journey of sustainability. Some of us are taking our first steps, some are further down the track. The team at Ōra King saw an opportunity to invite chefs, who are committed to being sustainable, to enter the 2019 Ōra King Awards and tell their unique story. 

Identity

We worked with the Ōra King team to create an identity for the awards that personified the sustainable journey. A full circle of ingredients, rotating in an infinite loop, became our symbol. It is a metaphor for all the little things we do separately that make a big difference together.
